Owen Switches on St Oswalds Xmas Lights

Owen Paterson was invited to switch on the Christmas lights on the Tree of Light at St Oswald’s Church for the Oswestry Rotary Club on Friday. The club raised £2,500 from this event last year for all sorts of good local charities and had already raised £1,200 on the day. Owen said “I was delighted to be asked by the Rotary Club to help with their event. This was well supported by the local community and I am pleased that they had already raised a substantial sum towards their target.” Reverend Robert Parker Rotary President Viv Jones
