Whitchurch Boat Gathering

Owen was on hand on Sunday to judge the “Best Decorated Boat” award at the Whitchurch Waterway Trust’s annual boat gathering. The theme this year was wild about flowers and the prize was presented to Mick and Gill Brown of the Dawn Treader. Owen said “I send my congratulations to the organisers for putting on such a great event. The turn-out at this gathering demonstrates how significant economic benefits can be brought to the town by maintaining and restoring the canal network."
